Any contractor who is looking to build a thriving contractor business by using contractor leads must be able to create, connect and evolve. I speak to contractors everyday who just are not willing to do one of the three or all three. Some are willing to be creative but when it comes to connecting they don't see the importance of understanding their customer needs through consulting. Other contractors want to connect with new customers but they are not willing to evolve and change with the times to stay ahead of the competition.
I wanted to take a few mins to talk about the importance of these three things. If you are looking to generate contractor leads for your business but you are not willing to be creative to generate those leads you are more than likely not really interested in getting contractor leads. You are more interested in being frustrated, tired, and stressed. Generating a flood of contractor leads start with you having a willingness to be creative in your offers.Offers are the worms that we put on the hook to catch the fish. You may have to change your offer a few times but once you have the right offer your contractor leads will come rolling in.
I could spend allot time talking to you about the importance of the offer but that will be for another time. The next thing you have to think about is your ability to connect. Once the lead comes in are you connecting with the customer right away or are you the last man to get in touch with the customer who has already been swarmed by your competitors. Connecting with the customer on an emotional level is also very important when it comes to running your contractor leads. Are you friendly & consultative or are you dry and only know how to give quotes.

Evolving is a huge challenge for most people. It means that you have to change. Most people do not like to change.
