Buy Remodel Leads

Times are tough all around us, with the cold wind of the nation-wide recession blowing at the bare faces of businesses throughout the United States. More and more each day, contractor businesses scour for contractor leads, only to come up dry as the bank accounts of many are doing so at this very moment. But, there’s nothing to fear for all you contractors out there, says Kip Charles of http://www.contractorleadssuck.com/, there is hope for you even in these times.  Buy Remodel leads.

Understand this: that at any time of economic crisis, the construction world is one of the first industries that are hit and are directly affected, as employers become more and more responsible with the jobs they take on and less work becomes available, as construction workers can attest to. Think of it this way: when you’re in a financial bind, you’re less likely to spend lavishly on your 07 BMW, but more conservatively, spreading your money to take care of bills and necessary expenses. So it is with construction, people won’t spend the money to build a brand new building, but rather will spend the money to maintain and remodel and a previously existing building. What is essential to understand, is that despite whether people can afford it or not, people generally will work, to maintain an image they want to portray.

The economy does paly a role in this. Picture working, and then all of a sudden, there’s a pause, where you’re somewhat in limbo, not knowing when the next job is going to come, and you’re twiddling your thumbs at home. Got the picture? Now you know the plight that befalls contractors in a recession. Despite being paid for work done in the past, workers are losing out, due to the unstable nature of the economic times.

But don’t fear! There are options for contractors out there. As unnerving it is to not have a steady stream of jobs lined up, or to have lost your job, there are things you can do to put yourself in position to get better business for yourself and for your contracting firm. Biolders have the mindset of building something that is brand new, never seen, with the recession upon us, new buildings being erected are happening less and less. Here is where the change must be made. Buy Remodel leads Be creative, and think out of the box. If a recession lowers the need for new buildings, then there will indeed be a demand for remodeling leads and preservation of existing buildings, as people have decided to keep the existing building as up-to-date as possible, so that costs are kept down and not used on temporary fix-ups, like scotch tape over a hole in the wall.

Be inventive, and think outside the box! There ARE contractor leads out there, but instead of thinking of building a second Empire State building, think smaller. In this time, smaller is better.

Kitchen Remodeling Jackson TN HomeTeck

Every Now and then I come across a contractor whose work just stands out form the crowd.  You don't really have to ask much his work speaks for himself.  He is located in Jackson TN.  The name of his company is Hometek. ( cool name)  Anyway.  I decided that his work was worthy of enough to mention because  I loved the way he remodeled the kitchens that you will see int eh video below.

I particularly like the the lighting.   It is amazing what lighting can do to a kitchen.   these Kitchens look, like they cost allot of money but to the contrary they were very affordable.I am adding a picture of him to this little note about his company because i think some people actually care what you look like.  If guy look scary most likely they won't give them the job, but if they take like to you and decide to call it is quite possible that you will
get the job.

To make a long story short.  Here is the video.  I hope that you like his work as much as I do.

How Much Does It Cost For Contractor Leads

Contractors are always searching for how much it cost to generate leads or  to lower their cost per lead. As a result i get many calls asking kip how much that's all I need to know.  I thought I would take a few Mins. to share my thoughts on the idea.  When asking what does it cost for contractor leads you need to take into consideration the way that lead is going to be generated.

Their are a number of ways to generate a lead

  1. Direct mail
  2. Telemarketing
  3. Pay per Click
  4. Search Engine Optimization of Website
  5. Article marketing
  6. Contractor Blogs
  7. Affiliate Programs
  8. Independent Contractors
  9. Networking
  10. Home Shows
  11. Refferals
  12. Etc
All of these methods can be used to generate leads and each one has a cost ascribed to it.   As a contractor your cost will be determined by you budget constraints.   The more funds you have set aside to market your funds the greater the chance of being able to generate the lead.   There is no real fixed amount sorry to say but that is the  answers to the question.  It can cost you 50 month and it can cost you 5,000 a month.  It is your responsibility to come up with a strategy and then come up with a budget or plan to reach your target market and financial goals.

Finding someone that you can trust to work with you to help you choose the right method is important.   You want to make sure that this person has your best interest at heart.  Many companies are interested in making a buck than seeing you make a buck.  If you thin finding leads are hard try finding a marketing partner that cares about your business as much as you do.  they exist my contractor friends but to find them is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.

All in all if you don't have a strategy, goals, and a marketing budget set aside you may be going into the lead generation business with the wrong idea and your expectations my be in the wrong place.   That is how you end up getting taken advantage of.  I encourage you to do your home work when it comes to making a decision as to how much it costs  for contractor leads because the cost is really up to you...

Generating Contractor Leads

May 11, 2009 – Contracting companies compete against each other day in and day out for clients and for projects that they are hired to complete. However, whether the company is a multi-million dollar corporation, or just your neighborhood construction crew, they all have the uphill battle of getting that elusive contractors’ lead, that lead that will allow them to work, and in turn, hopefully garner more and more business around them. "There are larger companies that will sell their contractor leads to an interested company, but then the same company may in turn sell that lead to twenty other companies, just to make a pretty penny", says Kip Charles, author of http://www.ContractorLeadsSuck.com

Let’s take it back to basics: what is a lead? Well, in the contracting business, a lead is someone, anyone, who may be interested in your services. Having leads are important, because without them, your business will more than likely fail, and rather quickly. Any business 101 class will tell you that proper marketing is essential to building a solid customer databank, so having leads is critical to the success and lifespan of your contracting business.

So, here’s the million-dollar question:

How do you get a lead, or more importantly, leads?

Here’s a few ways to properly generate leads:

First off, get with the times and get your company online. Gone are the days where people will look up the business they need in the Yellow Pages, but are more inclined to drop a request in the search engines of Yahoo! And Google. Creating a website also is an effective way to market yourself to the World Wide Web; however the depth of the website is totally up to you. Having a website that just displays  your services and contact information is one way, another way is go all out and include articles and various different resources, all that would be useful and helpful to a visitor. That way, the visitor walks away with an even more impressed feeling, knowing that your company will be able to meet their differing and specific needs, should they arise.

The Internet may open the leads to you, but still effective are many offline ways as well. Hundreds and hundreds of postcards with the company contact info and a short listing of services offered may help, as people may keep postcards of companies until the time arises when they need something around the house to be addressed. An intuitive and creative way of spreading yourself is by using creative methods of exposure. Instead of just using postcards, why not magnets, or even pens? That way, whenever the magnet is used to post up a reminder for a doctor’s appointment, or the pen is used to sign an date a check for a household bill, there is always a constant reminder.

Networking is a very important way of generating leads, as keeping in touch with the right people will open doors for you to do business in the future, as well as one day, get your business a professional referral or recommendation. Keep a list of all prior customers, as they may have more work in store, or they will be able to refer you to people that they know that may need your services. Testimonials are a great way to show your track record working with different clients, and will garner interest and trust from others. And finally, start up a mailing list, giving updates and news on your business, so that (Your Business Here) stays on their minds until they are in need of your services.

Without leads, your business will die, and not slowly! So help take off the invisibility cloak off of your business, and begin to tailor your business to take advantage of leads that are all around you.

Contractor Marketing

Surely, you already know I am a huge supporter of synergistic marketing for building your contractor business empire over time. Advertising is one of a series of interrelated marketing tools that support and reinforce each other. When synergizing your campaigns, advertising becomes a much more flexible and profitable medium for your remodeling business.

There are very few agencies or consultants who specialize in this type of marketing. The reason for this is lack of skills, relationships, and in most cases, lack of understanding in how the activities work together for the benefit of your contract ring business
.
The consultants that offer synergistic marketing may be a part of a larger group of advertisers who can offer the additional services needed to create synergy. These types of agencies are usually suitable for handling integrated campaigns. Ideally, you want to work with a company that values direct response marketing and can integrate that into all types of media.

Results indicate that synergistic marketing, when done correctly, can explode your profit margins and make better use of your marketing budget. The savings come through multiple uses of the same planning and creative work and more efficient use of data that is already producing a return on investment. The major bonus is that synergistic marketing activities support each other, improving the efficiency of individual campaign elements against overall objectives.
Although campaigns take many different forms, there are core elements that are crucial to the successful development, integration and delivery of your marketing strategy. The most important of these are:

1. Advertising (creative)
2. Direct marketing (directional)
3. Telemarketing
4. Press information
5. Relationship marketing (social media)
6. Sales
7. Publications

In synergistic marketing the elements support each other. For example, an advertising campaign looking to generate home improvement leads with a reply coupon is integrated with a direct mail program, which is followed up by telemarketing. Without the support of the other marketing elements the advertising and direct mail programs would have achieved results but together they create synergy and achieve real impact.

Contractor Leads Tracking & Measuring

It is vitally important that you get consistent results and reliable statistics. Weather its kitchen remodeling leads, bathroom remodeling leads, roofing leads, Or any contractor leads. This will save you time and money while creating tremendous opportunity for new choices in the marketplace. With the use of technology today, every start-up and small contractor businesses can track and measure their marketing in real time and use it as a toll to grow the business.Quality Contractor leads

You should be able to track leads coming in from emails, phone calls, website conversions and any other type of media. All of this data needs to be produced in a format that is easily accessed and analyzed. By tracking and measuring your advertising you also get a deep understanding of your customers’ needs.
Perhaps the most appealing benefit to tracking your advertising is the call-monitoring feature. All phone calls are recorded which allows for quality control, training and development. If your customer service is terrible you will never grow a larger profitable business. Nine out of ten business owners have no idea where their responses are coming from. By tracking and measuring your advertising, you’ll know exactly where your dollars are going and what it’s producing, giving you the ammunition you need to determine your exact return on investment.

Contractor Leads - Learning How To Better Close The Appointment

As a sales trainer I often listen in to the calls of my clients for training purposes.  The call you are about to hear for me was the perfect situation in which I thought the person answering the phone could have done more.  I believe that many times we miss opportunities to make money because of a lack of sales skills.   If you are a contractor and your paying for every lead that comes in to your business do not waste the opportunity.

  1. From the moment you get the person on the call start prequalifing them.
  2. Use the time to also talk about why you are qualified to do the job and discourage them from shopping around.
  3. If you think that the customer is not at the end of the buying cycle make sure you have a way to automatically keep in touch with them so that when they are ready to buy they will buy from you.
  4. Stress how important the decision is that the customer is making and

3 Things Business Owners Can Learn From "Confidence Builder In Chief" President Obama

I happened to catch our current President Obama (Confidence Builder In Chief) speaking to a group of business owners today.  The news casters were stating that he was using the forum as a way to keep Americas hopes up that the economy would turn.   I took notice of three things that Obama used as a tool to get his point across which business owners if they duplicate this can experience an increase in sales as well.

  1.  Keep it personal - It doesn't matter how large the market is that you are speaking to or marketing to.  Make sure that those who are hearing you fell as though you are speaking to them directly.  President Obama when he speaks makes you fell as though he is talking to you alone.  If you were not paying attention you might think that he was talking to you and only you.
  2.  Keep it focused - if you want your message to hit home. Keep it laser like focused and say it often.  Obama is realizing that with so many things happening in the economy today that his audience looses focus quickly, they get distracted much faster because of all of the access to information today.  If you want to keep your potential customers focused on you then you better stay infront of them in the most cost effective way that you can.  Obama is looking to keep us focused on the stimulus package and its benefits and he is speaking to us more about it now then ever so that we don't forget it purpose and his.
  3. Look Like a Leader -  Even if Obama is scared out if his mind he will never let us see him sweat.  He wants us to see confidence, control, and optimism.  What do your clients see and hear in your message.  Maybe they dont even hear you at all and when they do you are unfocused, and unsure.  People not only want the best price but they want to know they are dealing with a leader in there market.

If you think this is information is helpful please let me know show some love!.  Thanks for reading and if you want to reach out to me you can find me at  www.contractorleadssuck.com or email me at Kip@brydgeme.com

Leave Wall Street Misery Behind & Grow Your Buiness In a Recession!

SOMETHING IS DRASTICALLY WRONG WITH THIS ECONOMIC DOWNTURN OR IS IT DRASTICALLY RIGHT?

I recently read a story that I thought was worth sharing with any business owners who ar
wall street feare willing to listen.  Many of us look at the economy and we realize that something has gone drastically wrong.  Unemployment is up to its highest levels, sales are down, business is hurting, and small business owners are having to close their doors for good.

I do not consider myself to be an authority on the topic but when I look back over the history of a growing economy I see constant patterns of growth and contraction.  The faster the growth the harder the contraction.

YOUR BUSINESS MAY DIE TODAY BUT THE DREAM NEVER HAS TO DIE!!!

If you as a business owner did not prepare for these times then the truth is that this contraction might mean the death of your current business. THIS does not have to be the death of your dream.  Surely as the SUN will rise so will the economy again unless we believe in financial Armageddon.  You will learn from this, you will be wiser, better, stronger and more prepared for success the next time.

For those who are not at businesses death doors and you are just looking to navigate through this violent contraction and curb your loses you may have more options than you think.

YOUR BABY IS ABOUT TO BE BORN AGAIN!!!

I write this to the business owners who were wise enough or lucky enough to put a little away for the thought times. I say lucky because sometimes that's just what it is.  You entered at the right time, right place, right product, right people, etc.

To those who treated therE customers like they should and gave the best service they could muster.  To those who built a solid business based on good sound quality service and customer satisfaction.  To those who were not afraid to spend a few bucks on marketing and track their return on investment growing there business over time......

There is hope for you TODAY!!!!!!

There were four lepers. You are going to learn something from a leper today. You can find the story in 2 Kings 17.  These men found themselves in  situation where like everyone else they were being effected by the tough times.  People were starving the situation was grim.  The market was down, 401ks dissipated, unemployment was up, customers were scarce, the market had shrunk drastically, banks were failing, the government even seemed confused as to what to do? (sounds familiar)

THE GREATEST GROWTH OPPORTUNITY IS CLOAKED IN FEAR!

The four lepers had to make a choice and so do you. They could stay in the camp with everyone else and starve or potentially starve or they would take a chance and go into the enemies camp to see what they could find to eat.   These lepers acted out of desperation and had nothing to loose.  Yet they had no Idea what they had discovered.  A great principle.  Opportunity is 100% of the time cloaked in fear. What everyone else had perceived as a terrible situation was actually a blessing in disguise. Outside the camp was certain death they thought.  Inside the camp was at least a slow death they were sure of. They decided to leave everyone behind including a slow death which was certain and face the fear of the unknown, knowing that the enemy may be await to rob and kill and take all they had so they thought.

YOUR COMPETITIONS CUSTOMERS ARE LEFT ALONE WITH KNOW ONE TO CATER TO THEM.....

When they left those who were dying and starving because of fear to go into the enemies camp the found the enemies camp empty and the enemies SPOIL was there for the taking!  If they had remind in the camp with everyone they would have died with everyone.  They decided not to die with everyone but to explore what opportunities lie outside of the fear and misery that they were in with everyone else.

How does this apply to you as a business owner.  The truth is as Darwin said the strong businesses will survive and the weak will die.

WISDOM SPEAK LOUD AND CLEAR LOOK AT HISTORY AND LEARN FROM IT!

If you were wise enough to prepare for the times of drought  then you have a huge opportunity to take the spoil of those who left it behind due to fear. If you are willing to leave those who like misery and constant negativity behind and see this economic downturn as a HUGE opportunity to capture more market share then you ever would have if the times were booming and more competitive then you can experience growth now and as the economy turns

Outside the misery camp where fear lives and dowels and constrains lies all the loot your business can handle.  Your competition like everyone else is hiding behind the walls and slowly starving to death and little do they know that you are going to go in the camp and take all the customers that were left behind!

ITS ALL A CYCLE THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN

8 - 10 years this opportunity comes where the masses panic and a few calm heads like warren buffet and others go in and clean up getting everything they can at pennies on the dollar.

How much market share do you want?
Are customers still buying from your competition?
Is your competition giving a better deal than you are?

Better yet take this opportunity while advertising is down the market is quite and you have potential customers attention  to burn your self into the minds of any potential shoppers that you are the true leader in your industry. Your competition is behind the wall hiding and holding on to his wallet!

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS CAN YOU HEAR IT OR IS FEAR SCREAMING TO LOUD FOR YOU TO HEAR ANYTHING?

Even on wall street there are those who made millions when the market went up.  Likewise there are those who are making millions as the market goes down.  Look for the opportunity to get away from what everyone else is doing and separate yourself from the competition.

Look for the advantage in the disadvantage.... If you want more advice on how you can use this time of fear as a tool for growth contact me.

Savannah Ga Painting Contractor Uses "Miracle Paint" that Helps Stops The Spread Of Fire.....

Recently I  took on a client that offers a very interesting service.  He provides a new technology that guarantees that you never have to paint your house again.  Well one of the additional benefits is that it is also a fire resistant. You can see that the fire could not spread as easily and probably would have consumed the home had they not made the decision to use this new technology.  I can't understand why anyone would use anything else.   This stuff is loaded with benefits!!!!!

If you are thinking of painting your home and you live in Savanna GA or Jacksonville Fl I suggest you take a closer look at this technology it could save your families life.

HOW TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARE BUYING VERIFIED CONTRACTOR LEADS THAT ARE ACCURATE

The definition of accuracy is free from error. I have heard horror stories of contractors who bought leads which were verified for one thing but when they finally got to the house the client wanted something completely different.

So how do you actually make sure that the leads your buying is 100% accurate. The truth is that you can’t. This is something that you are going to have to wait and see.

But you can decrease the chances of you getting inaccurate information by stressing that if you purchase a lead and the information for any reason is not correct that they will take the lead back no questions asked.

If a company does not have a strong lead exchange program that is heavily weighted in your favor it means that they are not 100% sure about the leads themselves.

The key to insuring accuracy is making sure that who ever is providing you the leads is willing to stand by their quality. If they are not willing to stand by their quality then why should you.

Verified Contractor Leads & How To Know When They Are Verified

This is the first of a series of 4 things that you should know before you purchase verified contractor leads. The four things are as follows:

They Should be Confirmed

They Should be Accurate

They Should be Evidence

Their Should be a call to Action

Verified Contractor Leads should be confirmed.

If the lead generation company that you are buying the leads from tells you that the leads have been verified you should ask the who, what, where, and when, questions. Who verified them? What was the questions asked to verify the leads, and what is your standard of a verified lead? Where are the leads generated? When were they generated?

Verified contractor leads - The who question

The person who is doing the verification should be someone who is knowledgeable enough about the industry to be able to determine if the person is shopping or if it is what I would call a hot verified contractor lead. If the person who is asking the question does not know how to qualify the person on the phone you could find your self getting a verified lead to know where but the land of wasted time. The person asking the questions should be able to verify what the potential client is looking for?

Verified contractor leads - The what question

The What question. If you are going to be buying verified contractor leads then you had better know what questions are being asked to qualify the leads as a “verified contractor lead.” the person who is doing the verification had better be asking questions like “ if we send out a contractor to give you and estimate and you like the price are you ready to move forward with your project.” Now I can tell you that if a person says yes to that answer then you are well on your way to purchasing a high quality verified contractor lead. If the person verifying the leads does not know how to properly qualify the customer then you will not get what you paid for.

Verified contractor leads - The where question

The Where Question. There are many places today that leads can be generated to sell to you. You want to ask where were the leads generated? Where they Online, Print, Radio, TV, Mailers, Sweepstakes. There are companies who will offer people the opportunity to get their kitchen remodeled for free. Fill out the form and you could when a free kitchen make over. This is a low quality lead as the person is hoping to get something for free. You have a very low chance of selling them anything. The lead is verified, qualified based on the form they filled out etc. You paid for it probably a premium thinking it has been verified but little do you know the customer allowed you to come out to their home because they wanted it for free.

Verified contractor leads- The when question.

The When Question. Finally you should be asking how long ago was the contractor lead verified. If you do not have an answer to that question then you could be getting a lead that is old, stale and useless. You want to get your leads hot off the press. Try to get the company to send them to you immediately after they have been verified. This will insure that you have the best chance at closing the deal.

In the next article I will share with you how to verify the accuracy of you “verified contractor leads” If you don’t want to wait and you looking for leads right now you can always visit www.contractorleadssuck.com To get more information on how you can get highly qualified leads now.

Bathroom Remodeling Contractor in Los Angeles Takes Customers On A Tour

I   f you are looking for a bathroom remodeling contractor in Los Angeles heres one reasons why you should consider David Mor from USA HOME IMPROVEMENTS as the only many for the job.

I have interviewed hundreds of contractors in my pursuit for the number one contractor in the nation.  What I was looking for in a bathroom remodeling contractor in Los Angeles was a service that the contractor provided that set them apart from the rest of their peers.

I was absolutely impressed with David's approach (USA HOME IMPROVEMENTS) to showing potential clients his quality of work.  Many of the contractors today will only show you pictures of work that they have done in the past.  David will not only show you pictures of work done in the past but he will actually take you on a tour of some of his best work.  You heard that right! You have to qualify but before you sit down and write a check you can take a tour of his best work and see it first hand, touch it if you want and speak to the customers.

You have to ask yourself, what type of relationship did he build with his customers that would allow for him to bring strangers into their homes to tour their remodeled bathrooms?  The fact that his customers will allow you to see the work first hand proves without a shadow of a doubt that they are 100% satisfied to the point that they are willing to help him build his future business off of past work that he's completed.  "David realy treats his work like art" says sharon one of his customers.

If I were in the market for a remodeled  bathroom and was in the Los Angeles market, I would think that I would be crazy if I chose to do business with anyone else that wasn't willing to allow me to see their work first hand.

David goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that potential customers feel comfortable making an investment with him.  With so much contractor fraud on the market, homeowners need to be extra careful.  David provides 100% transparency and his former customers, who you may have the opportunity to meet with, are willing to share their experiences.

There can only be one number one remodeling contractor in the Los Angeles market.  David has proven himself to be at the top of his peers.

Contractor Leads The Good The Bad & The Ugly!

With so many search engine marketing companies on the prowl General Contractors who hire "experts" to market their business online better make sure that who they are hiring has more to offer than a promise to place them at the top of the page.

It is no secret that there are companies using Google to make 100’s of  Thousands of dollars on line and there are also smaller  contractors who combined have lost 10 times that by hiring incompetent online marketing companies whose concern was more about how large a budget they could get from the general contractor and how many of the same types of clients they could close  than being concerned with the over all success of the clients.

Kip Charles from http://contractorleadssuck.com  helps contractors generate high quality leads and has heard horror stories of companies who have forked over $5,000 -$10,000 at a time and were not even given a unique site that was tailored to their strengths.  Instead they received a template which was put together using the clients information from either their current website, flyers and brochures.  The same type of site that a $500 client would receive.

I want to share with you three things that I believe every Search Engine Marketing Company should be doing for General Contractor Clients. The first thing is they should be looking to do a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses opportunities, and threats) analysis prior to setting up the campaign so that they have a thorough understanding of what it is that the general contractor  does well and what he may not do so well.  By understanding the client strengths and weakness the marketer can separate each service by profit center and prioritize each one according to ROI and demand for service. Then they can set up the campaigns accordingly.

Second they should be able to take those strengths and  use them as a tool to differentiate their client from the other 20 potential competitors on the page.   Just because the marketer places his client first on the page does no guarantee  that  the client will get any business.  All it does is guarantee that the client will spend the most money.

At http://contractorleadssuck.com our priority is not alwys to get you at the top of the page as much as it is to see how potential custmers interact with you sight and its content. Once we know that then we can invest clients funds more wisely.

Third they should be able to communicate the online strategy clearly to the general contractor so that he can mange his expectations.  There are companies who are guarantee clients that they will give them 50 -75 leads in the first 30 days bit they never talk about the quality for ht leads.  Clients hire internet marketers not because they want contractor leads but because they want jobs.  They want the phone to ring. They want calls for estimates etc.   They don’t want leads as much as they want the end result that leads are suppose to bring.

In closing  general contractors when choosing a lead generation company should look for the same quality that they would expect to give potential clients when they are doing  their kitchens bathrooms or room additions etc.
